What is COP30? How is it relevant? Why should we care as average citizens?
Faith & Ecology, the new podcast from Ecojesuit, seeks to teach us all about the upcoming United Nations climate conference and how each of us can make a difference.
Ahead of COP30 (10-21 November in Belém, Brazil), the series presents the conference’s complex issues in an accessible, relevant, and personally meaningful way. Through conversations with experts, researchers, civil society leaders, and members of the Global Ignatian Advocacy Network initiatives, the podcast aims to foster informed understanding and inspire active engagement toward ecological conversion and care for our Common Home during this critical moment in the climate crisis.
This nine-episode series is part of the “Jesuits for Climate Justice: Faith in Action at COP30” campaign, inspired by the 4th Universal Apostolic Preference and the 10th anniversaries of both the Laudato Si’ Encyclical and the Paris Agreement.
New episodes drop every Wednesday starting 10 September. Follow, listen, and share on your favourite platforms.
